Leadership doesn’t mean taking charge after being assigned as a leader. It means identifying issues and working towards their solutions. It means having the capacity to go beyond the own and assemble the required team to plan an efficient execution. It means being the oil between the turning cogs and the tissue fluid between the joints.
Being a leader means letting go of the past and moulding the present while striving towards the future.
A leader takes responsibility even when they’re not “supposed” and “expected” to – for themselves, for the people around them and for finding the best path while maintaining personal safety boundaries and knowing when to stop.
