True self love is loving the parts of yourself that you dislike.
The easiest thing in the world is to find mistakes in yourself. To look in the mirror and see chubby thighs or drum-stick legs. To ignore the beauty of the eyes and focus only on the dark circles, and to forget that those dark circles are the pride of your late night study trysts.
To me, it became almost first nature to measure myself up to others, and find myself lacking. Mind! Any self doubt worth its mettle settles in for the long run until it becomes the sole occupier of your thoughts.
